Development Team - System The team takes charge of system design and hardware development in the system business unit. One of projects that are in progress is the development of CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO base station for 2.4Mbps high-speed wireless data service. The team is also going through the development of satellite digital broadcasting equipment. The team is responsible for the development of the digital signal processing part, digital optic transmission, RF module,system and system control based on the core technologies of digital hardware, RF, optics and microprocessors. They also have the technical expertise of system engineering and RF engineering for system interoperability and optimization of wireless networks. Development Team - Software The essential component of all systems from the handset to the base station is the software. Software plays an important role in making the final collaboration of a system and in increasing the value of a system. The team pursues solidness in both reliability and completeness of systems using network programming and hardware technology. Development Team - Wireless Communication The team develops communication equipment used to improve wireless telecommunication quality and to process traffic efficiently. They retain system technologies suitable for in-building call environment of high-rise and medium-sized buildings, subway stations and tunnels.
