What was your biggest concern before joining Solid Technologies? |
My biggest concern was in changing companies, especially one that is smaller. My first company was one of the top five companies in Korea, and the second one was a successful venture company, which was regarded as a company of medium standing. As I was always joining with a company smaller than the previous one, I was worried that I might eventually end up working in a convenient store.

However, I believe that the most important criteria for selecting a company should be whether or not one can develop his competitiveness there. I chose Solid Technologies because I thought that my skills and leadership would be enhanced by taking a position in a new venture company, as opposed to a large company with an established framework. I would have more responsibilities in a smaller company, thereby expanding my reach of influence and input. You might learn technical details better in a large company, but if you want to look at a big picture, think company-wide, and gain extensive experience in many other areas beyond your own, you would have a favorable environment in a small company.
