System Introduction The system is designed to link base stations and other relay systems by relaying signals from BTS to remote base stations through optic lines. The system allows for low cost signal transmission to the desired remote base station and can do it without damaging signal quality (to remote base stations over 5km apart). As the transmission is performed over optic cable, it is insulated from outside interference or noise compared to other link repeaters. Furthermore, the WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplex) method of the system makes it even more economical because it can transmit signals two-way through core optic lines.
